Noticed the same issue in the downloaded .zip theme I believe the version is 2.2.1.
No trace of header and social media menu in the code :(

On the preview of the theme i chose, there are social media icons on the main page in the footer. The name of the theme is AltoFocus.

The social icons on the AltoFocus are not in a widget, they are in what’s called a “social links menu.”
After switching themes, you’ll be able to open your Customizer‘s Menus panel and create a new social menu there, and assign it to the theme’s “Social Menu” area.

Actually, it doesn’t work for some reason. Icons are in place now, but once i press it nothing happens. Is there any way to fix it?
