@lizthefair,
Thank you, almost there! The target for _sipfederationtls is incorrect, can you please change it to sipfed.online.lync.com (it’s currently set to sipdir.online.lync.com which is not correct for this record)? The other record seems good!
Thank you! -

@ dmoscone–sure thing. Sorry to give you a little extra work, but glad you figured it out :)

I’m having this issue as well but when I click on the link provided by staff it won’t allow me to access it?

@kaileysherwood, I recommend starting your own thread for your issue. The link provided by @lizthefair is specific to that user.

How long ago did you make those changes? At first look, they look correct. It can take up to 72 hours for it all to start working.

having same issue. “value for the protocol is missing” message when trying to add SRV records for office 365.
can’t tell how you guys managed to resolve this issue

I’m having the same issue. When I switch to the ‘old style’ dashboard and update the SRV settings from there, as suggested above, I get a different error message “This record cannot be added, as it conflicts with an existing record.”
I really need some help, trying to set up email from Go Daddy and using the settings and instructions they have given me for Office 365 email set up.

I think one issue you’re having is making so many DNS changes in the last few hours.
Also, rather than using the instructions GoDaddy has provided, why not try ours? :)

helper-brucea thanks for your reply. I’ve left it for a week now and my website, when i type in the URL, now seems to redirect to the Microsoft log in page for my email? Can you help with this issue?? My website address is huttlysgardenservices.com but i’m getting this!
https://login.microsoftonline.com/login.srf?wa=wsignin1.0&rpsnv=4&ct=1448983418&rver=6.6.6556.0&wp=MBI_SSL&wreply=https%3a%2f%2foutlook.office365.com%2fowa%2f%3frealm%3dcom%26vd%3dhuttlysgardenservices&id=260563&whr=com&CBCXT=out&msafed=0I have contacted Go Daddy for help but they refer me to WordPress. They have said they can set up email for me, but i need the IP address for them to update the A record. I could really do with some help!. Made very simple website for a gardening friend, all was well until I updated the DNS records for his Go Daddy Office email account and now website has disappeared and still no email!!!.. I was given the following SRV settings by Go Daddy to enter, but wordpress.com does not accept them?
443 _tls @ _sip 100 1 sipdir.online.lync.com
5061_tcp @ _sipfederationtls 100 1 sipfed.online.lync.comThanks in advance!

Hi @paulhuttly, sorry we missed your response earlier — looks like you’ve tagged onto an older thread.
You have several cnames pointing your domain to various services, including your email provider, which is why your domain points there sometimes. Please remove those entries, then try adding the SRV records.
If you need more help with this, can you get in touch here? http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact
You would also be welcome to start a new thread and tag us there (use the “modlook” tag), but chat may be easier.
