Can't add sub menu to a menu in navigation bar.
-
Hello everyone!
I hope you guys are all well, just today I started my own economics blog (I am a student), however I’m having trouble adding sub menus to my website.
my website is: economicsessentials.wordpress.com
Under Macroeconomics and Microeconomics, I want to add sub menus. I’ve already created some of the pages to go underneath macroeconomics, and I’ve added them and made sure they’re sub menus in the admin panel (by dragging them to the right). However, when I save and view my website, when I hover over Macroeconomics, there seems to be no sub menus? The theme I am using is Manifest.
I hope someone is able to help.
Kind regards,

Hi,
Links to two child pages, “Inflation” and “Unemployment,” are appearing in a drop-down menu under the Macroeconomics parent menu item. Are you still not seeing them?
The theme I am using is Manifest.
I see that you presently have the Typo Theme activated.

Hi there,
I would of loved the manifest theme. But because no one seemed to know what to do to make it work.
I just changed the theme entirely.

The theme being used ordinarily wouldn’t make a difference regarding the visibility of child pages. If the Manifest theme is a rare exception where the default menu doesn’t display links to child pages, then this could be addressed by switching to a custom menu. In a custom menu, each menu item is added manually to the menu, and none may be excluded by a theme’s peculiarities of design.
Also it might be a bug in the theme.
You may add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar to call for staff attention if you’d like to invite an explanation from staff.
