Can't add widgets/ widgets not highlighted

  I am using the Shaan theme. I added widgets some time ago and was fine. I tried an hour ago and while they do show up on the widget sidebar in editor/admin mode, they are NOT highlighted in the list and do not show up on the actual working page. What am I missing??

  I don’t know – sorry. What I do know is that all widgets are installed, configured and installed here > Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets

  Note: Widgets have “visibility” settings so we can select which pages they display on. See here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/#widget-visibility

  Thanks everyone. I was pressing the “visibility” icon but, I dunno… it didn’t stick. I have it now. I guess it just took it a while to show up..?? Thanks again!
