Can’t apply Theme

  When I’m trying to activate a theme such as ‘Twenty Seventeen’ or ‘Lodestar’, the resulting website contains only the header image of the chose theme, while the rest part of the site is totally irrelevant to the chosen theme. I tried to start a new site several times, tried to change and activate theme, but couldn’t get read of the website template (ugly one), which apparently was chosen by the system itself.

  Hi there!

  You do not see much difference because each theme must be set up to look like the demo site. You’ll also want to have some content on the site to see the difference.

  If you check the theme Lodestar, here: https://wordpress.com/theme/lodestar/ you’ll see the step-by-step instructions on how to make your site look like the demo one.
