Can't approve comments, also can't find 'discussion' settings

  Firstly, when I try to ‘approve comments’, it just loads and loads and in the end nothing happens (so comments are not getting approved).

  I thought I’d just disable the option to manage comments so that they wouldn’t have to be approved. After searching for these settings and not finding them I read on some help forums that the settings can be changed from the ‘discussion’ settings, which I cannot find anywhere…

  I’ve learnt that I can approve comments by (and only by) following links through email notifications,

  though I still can’t find the ‘discussion’ settings anywhere…
