Can’t browse to upload in write screen

  This is a problem I’ve been having today. Everytime I go to browse my images to put into the editor, I get a website popup called Mike’s Googly site. I can’t get to my images and there is no way to close it. There’s something about adding a bar to my site, but it seems really strange to have this happen today when I’ve never before had problems browsing my photos. I also wonder if this is a spam & is this happening to other people?

  This sounds more like some spyware on your local machine.

  I would do a few things:

  1. Clear your browser’s cookies and cache (history).
  2. Run an anti-virus sweep.
  3. If you haven’t already got one, get something like spybot (free) and run that too. It will detect most spyware and remove it for you.

  Then try again.

  Before you run the virus and spyware sweeps, make sure that you have the latest versions of those softwares as well.
