Can't buy redirect…why not

    I upgraded my wordpress. The old blog was journeyamerica.wordpress.com The new site is journeyamerica.us I’ve been trying all day to buy the “redirect” but keep getting an error message saying, “Your blog cannot be redirected to that URL. Please make sure the URL is valid.” Can you help me with this?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi Jerry!

    It looks like you mapped your domain journeyamerica.us to your WordPress.com blog. However, it doesn’t look like the name servers for that domain are pointing to WordPress.com. If you would like to display the content from your WordPress.com blog at that domain, you’ll need to change the name servers as described here:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/#instructions-for-mapping-an-existing-domain

    Alternatively, if you’re trying to simply redirect journeyamerica.wordpress.com to your domain journeyamerica.us, which is hosted elsewhere, I’m happy to help you do that as well.
