Can't Change Account Email Address

    Can’t Change Account Email Address: I have several WP accounts under different email names. The carrier I had when creating my primary WP account has changed email domain names, which I don’t want to use. I want to use my gmail address as primary for all my WP accounts, but because I have a WP account under that gmail name, I can’t change the other WP accounts that have the old carrier’s name. It says about the gmail address — ‘That email is already taken.’

    Can’t Find WP Email Address to send Request:
    While searching all over WP for a contact source, I keep getting bounced to community forums, yet one page said something about needing to send an email to WP with my current email address to verify it’s mine. Well, I can’t find any way to send such an email.

    So … two problems.
    1) I need to change all my WP accounts to the same email name (gmail), one that is already registered on WP.
    2) I need a WP email address to send the request.
    Can anyone help unravel this mess?

    So … two problems.
    1) I need to change all my WP accounts to the same email name (gmail), one that is already registered on WP.

    The same email address cannot be used for more than one WordPress.com account, so if you’re trying to change to an address that’s already associated with another account you won’t be able to. You will first need to change the other account’s email to something else in order to free up that address.

    2) I need a WP email address to send the request

    Sending us a direct email will give you no different reply from the one I gave here. If an email address is already connected to one WordPress.com account, it cannot be used for another.
