Can't change administrator email adress

    I’m developping a website with a developer and we would like to change the administrator adress from his to mine (in admin general settings). However I don’t receive the email (it’s not in my spams either). We tried multiple times with always the same issue. We have currently no solution and help would be much appreciated.

    It looks like your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.

    Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
