Can't Change All Blog Language

  I have already selected English as Blog Language and Interface Language, but the date and ‘share this post’ are still in Chinese. How can I fix this? Thank you.

  If you changed the language in your site’s General Settings https://wordpress.com/settings/general/ and the interface language to English under https://wordpress.com/me/account it should be in English. Everything I see in the source code under the LANG attribute says EN, but I also see the date in Chinese. Try switching to another theme and then back to see if it doesn’t “shake” it loose.

  If that doesn’t work, please return to this thread and add the MODLOOK tag to the Tag section of the forum thread’s sidebar for Staff assistance.

  Thank you for replying. I tried switching to other themes back and forth but the Chinese words are still there. I will add the MODLOOK tag.

  One other thing to try is entirely deleting the existing test post and category (including emptying the trash bin) and publishing a new one.

  Hi there,

  It looks like your site has a custom date setting that’s showing the Chinese characters. You can change that from settings in the WP-Admin dashboard here:
