cant change background photo

  hello, im having a difficult time trying to figure out how to change the picture for the backround in the bute theme, from the ocean to a customized image of my own. is there a way to do this? ive tried several themes now, and customizing from the start and nothing is displaying the option for background in costumization

  How the background integrates with your theme is dependent on which theme the project is utilizing. They aren’t all the same in this regard.

  Looking at your site more closely I can see the theme has been changed to issue and is no longer using bute . Is this intentional? Do you still want to use the other theme?
