Cant change between different fonts

  Hi guys,

  i bought the “Collective” Theme and the upgrade to conform my fonts and colours individually.

  But if i try to change the fonts for body text and headline it doesnt change at all. No matter what font i try. is that a massive technical issue? Because i paid 24 Euro to change the fonts…

  Can you help me? I asked at the german support forum, but they say because its not a user issue, they cant help.

  Hi there,

  It looks like you got this all sorted out! When I go to your site, you have clearly changed the header font to Herb Condensed and your body font to Ubuntu. Are you able to see these changes on your end?

  no, i cant see any of the changes unfortunately.

  what can i do? delete cookies/cache?

  Your cookies shouldn’t make a difference, but please give clearing your cache a try. Also, if you wouldn’t mind taking a look at your site using another browser, that would be great.

  So you know what I’m seeing, this is what I get using FF 30.0 on a Mac (which is now Fertigo Pro and Minion Pro . . . I hope you changed it?):

  yeah i changed it.

  i got no issues with ie11 on windows 7. i cleared the cache, but with ff 30 it still doenst work.

  thats strange…

  I just managed to get a Windows box loaded with the most recent version of Firefox, and I noticed that while it was very slow to load the first time (possibly due to another change in fonts), it did load for me. I wanted to mention that the way in which the fonts are loaded, the default font is pre-loaded and then one of the last things that is loaded is the changed font.

  So if you are on a slower connection or if your browser is having issues loading a page, it could time out before the fonts get loaded up. Have you tried reloading (refreshing) the page to see if the fonts appear?

  I tried. it still doesnt load the right fonts. but you are right: before the page is loading I get a white screen for one second. i noticed it too.

  hm…tricky….maybe ff 31.0 will help.

  ok, problem solved: a firefox plugin (“ghostery”) was blocking the fonts. I disabled the plugin and now the fonts are shining bright and clear.

  man… I am a dummy… :)
