Can't change blog Icon (in URL Bar)

  Hello,

  I have a wordpress.com blog, and I am having trouble changing the little icon that appears in the URL bar. Originally I had set that image by assiging myself a gravitar, however changing the gravitar to a new image does not seem to have solved the issue. My profile image for when I post comments appears to be the correct image, but no matter what I do, I can’t seem to change the little icon that appears on the URL bar, it remains as the old image.

  Also note, I have cleared my browsers cache, changed browsers, and changed my gravitar settings a billion times. Unless there is something I’m missing, I feel that I’m at a loss.

  Hi there!

  To change the favicon of your WordPress.com site, you just add a new image under Settings -> General from your site’s dashboard. For the image listed under “Blog Picture / Icon”, just upload the new image you want to use. It may take a few hours for the change to fully take effect.

  It appears your favicon and your user picture are different right now – is this how you wanted it?
