How do you change the title of your blog? I’ve followed the directions given – go to settings and type in new title and ‘save changes – but the old title is still there.

Hello. To change the title of your blog, log into wordpress. On the My Blogs page, click on the Dashboard link under the title of your blog. On the Dashboard, choose Settings (in the left hand menu, near the bottom) and then General.
On the General Settings page enter the new site title. Hope this helps!

What is the new title you are trying to put in? Are you remembering to scroll down and Save the changes?

Thanks, all, for your responses! Funny but when I turned on the computer this morning I found the problem solved! So perhaps I needed to wait longer than 5-10 minutes for the change to take effect? Or let the computer sleep on it, or those little elves that hide car keys in the middle of the night maybe decided to do a good thing for once and they fixed it. I will learn about refreshing my browser and clearing the cache from the link you kindly sent me. I’m new to all this. annkiefert and raincoaster – thank you! All is good and the world is a better place!
