Can't change button colors

    I’ve tried to change the color of my buttons by using different code I’ve found on
    Google. Adding it to the custom css doesn’t work, adding it to the css editor within my child theme plug in doesn’t work either. I just want to change the “read more” buttons that you see on the home page because that color is hideous. https://melanatedzen.com/
