cant change date on theme

  i have the matala theme for my theme and can’t seem to change the date on front. It says oct 20th but its dec 12th. I have looked everywhere trying to figure this out…

  That’s the date on which that post was published.

  It looks like you might want to publish that information as a page instead, and then set it as your front page.

  It looks like you’ve set up a static front page. Have you sorted this out?
