can't change domain name

  I want to change my current wordpress domain name to a wordpress domain name i have recently deleted but wordpress says the deleted site is currently taken … do i just have to wait a while before trying to rename again or will wordpress never let me use a site name i previously created and deleted?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  Unfortunately it is not possible. That’s why several warnings are given in order to accomplish deletion.

  However, you can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Or even better, you can register a domain with a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.
