can't change double image on post and .com -> .org transfer problems

  on my blog barnabashouseok.wordpress.com on 10/22/13 the image is showing twice, but when i go to the dashboard to fix it, there aren’t two images there. can you help me?

  also, i’m switching to a wordpress.org website and have imported my blog to it. however, since then only half of the new posts are showing up. what do i do about that? and do i keep posting on the .com blog or do i post on the new website?

  You have set a featured image for that post and also inserted the image into the post. So, you can either delete the inserted image or remove the featured image (it is on the right hand side of the “edit post” view and down the page a bit).

  Since WordPress.com support does not have access to your servers or files, the amount of help we can provide as far as .org issues is very limited. The first (and best) location for finding help for self-hosted WordPress sites is here:

  If it were me, I would keep using WordPress.com until you have everything ready to go on your self-hosted site.
