Can`t change e-mail address

ve just registered a Blog , But ive Changed my e-mail address. I change it, as per the prompts – Options, Change e-mail, type new address and PressSave Changes. But when it goes back, It still has the same e-mail address as before. -
I think (it’s been a while since I changed my email here) an email is sent to one of the addresses (either the new or old one) and you have to click on a link in the email to confirm the change.
If you haven’t gotten the email, check your spam folder.

/I had this problem a while back, in the end i couldnt get it resolved myself. I dont think it was sending the emails to verify the address. I sent in a support thing about it and Mark changed it for me.
So do the same, drop in a support form saying it wont let you change your email

i’ve registered a new blog, and i’ve changed the e-mail adress, but, the e-mail adress that shows when i’m loged in and I want to leave a comment in another blog, is still my initial e-mail adress. can I change this?
the blog is http://somaria.wordpress.com and the new e-mail that I want to use and to show whenever i leave a comment is (email visible only to moderators and staff) – please help! -
If you are trying to change it on the Your Profile page it will not work.
The only place you can change this is here -> Options

E-mail address: _____________________
This address is used only for admin purposes. If you change this we will send you an email at your new address to confirm it. The new address will not become active until confirmed.
Click “Update Options” to save after you change the email address.P.S. It’s never wise to post an email address in the form you did on a forum. Spam bots will crawl it.
