cant change email address

  i need to change the email address i use to login to WordPress
  right now is set to (email visible only to moderators and staff)
  i need to change it to (email visible only to moderators and staff)
  i tried to change it myself but when i click save, it shows an error telling me that the email address is already in use.
  Please help to change it

  Hi there, have you thought about using an alias? For example, instead of using this:

  (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  Use this:

  (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  You can make that +1, +whatever, +doesnotmatter … whatever letters or numbers make the most sense to you. Gmail will ignore the plus sign and anything after it. But we won’t, so it’s in effect a second email account that delivers to the same address.
