Can’t change email in Settings General

  Hi, I’vebeen trying all day to change the email address in my General Settings on my wordpress site at https://better.bits.com. But I never get a confirmation email. So the old email address remains.

  Why isn’t this working for me?

  Hi Barbara,

  For a WordPress.com site, the account email address cannot be changed at Settings > General. It may be changed at Account Settings, https://wordpress.com/me/account. See the Update Email Address support page.

  If you’re not referring to a WordPress.com site, then the above advice may not apply.
