cant change gallery setting

  since wordpress updated.. when i try to create a gallery in a post it will not allow me to change the options ex. 3 columns or 2, grid or tiled, etc…

  I try to click on it and it restarts and sends me back to a new clean post. ??? anyone have any ideas??? thanks – matt

  Hi there,
  I don’t know what that reference to upgrading means. WordPress.com is on continuous roll-out and there are as many as 2 dozen code changes made in any day.

  If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.

  Note: If you are using an IE9 browser in compatibility mode that makes it render as IE7 and IE7 is not supported. To disable see > http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1196-internet-explorer-compatibility-view-turn-off.html

  If you are running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com please do these four things:

  1. Try clearing your browser’s cache: http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050

  2. Make sure that you have third-party cookies and JavaScript enabled: http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/

  http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=12654

  3. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.

  Thank you for your help.. I have tried all of what you recommended.. I am running safari 5.1 … I have emptied cache , done the cookies, everything you said, https etc. and when I try to create a gallery, and I get to gallery settings.. If I click on one of the option buttons link to , columns, random order, etc. It restarts the page and any pages that I have open in safari..

  The theme is gridspace obviously.. I bought it about 5 months ago or so..

  Any thoughts?? Thanks again -Matt

  I have also realized that other options also restart the program. Any option that requires clicks on the drop arrow buttons the (up down arrows) to select something, restarts the program..

  ex. in appearance I wanted to adjust comments section (the size of the area) I clicked the arrow to open the options and it reloaded the page???

  Thoughts??? This is really limiting any posts i want to create.. – thanks again – Matt Watson
