Can’t change header

  I keep uploading photos for a header and when I go to crop them, I often get a double image — one small one, and one large one grayed out — and when I crop, I just get a black header on my actual blog.

  What the hell is the problem?

  Typically I recommend sizing the header image to the exact size prior to uploading it since I’ve had mixed luck doing it through wordpress. This link lists the sizes for headers in the themes here at wordpress: http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/09/25/how-big-can-my-images-be/
