Can't change Hemingway theme options, says I'm not an admin

  I am currently unable to change the theme options for the Hemingway theme. Whenever I try to change anything the page kind of glitches out and a message tells me that I need admin status to make the changes.

  Well, I’m and admin and the only user on my site. It seems there was a similar post back in May that remains unresolved: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/theme-changes-denied-it-says-only-the-admin-can-make-changes-but-i-am-the-adm?replies=26#post-896346

  I have tried the suggestions in that post, but to no avail. Any thoughts?
