Can’t change maximum post amount on homepage Aether theme

  Hi, I’m desperately trying to set my blog homepage so that it shows a maximum of 8 posts on the page. The Aether theme has pagination buttons “Next page” “Previous page” that allows you to navigate and see more posts. However this isn’t showing on my blog. My blog homepage is showing all of the posts, when it should only show the latest 8. I’ve made sure of this, by changing the settings to 8 posts, both on the WordPress Reading settings and the actual block itself. Nothing seems to work. My infinite scroll is also disabled, so I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance

  I contacted Support and got a solution: For anyone having the same issue, you have to use the Query loop block, and change its settings to the number of posts you want to display on your blog page. This does the trick.
