Can’t change my avatar
-
I’m using Firefox 3.0.6 with Adblock Plus and NoScript.
I’m trying to change my avatar in my Profile and have not been able to see these options, as shown here: http://support.files.wordpress.com/2008/12/change-your-gravatar.png?w=688&h=488
Instead I would initially get an option to sign up for Gravatar and then subsequently just the loading bar, loading and loading with no result.
I tried signing up at gravatar.com. I put in my email address, but nothing happened. I have not received an email from Gravatar.
I turned off Adblock and NoScript, cleared my cache and cookies and tried again. It still just loads and loads with no result. And when I try again to sign up at Gravatar, it tells me the email address has already been used.
I’m at my wit’s end. I can’t believe changing an avatar is so difficult.

Can’t change my gravatar either! It used to be so easy. Now when I click “Change your gravatar” it opens a window that says “Please close this window if it does not close automatically” and it doesn’t close automatically. Nor does anything happens if I close the window.
So how do I change my avatar?

tried unlading’s solution, but when I try a new tab, I get a whole window at this url http://fr.gravatar.com/accounts/force-by-email/close-window
that says the same as precedingly, “Please close this window if it does not close automatically” -

I’m having the same problem. My gravatar disappeared.
I’m waiting for an answer too. When I here of something, I’ll check back here to see if one has been posted.

I guess I’m the only one who has come back here to post the answer. The solution is to go to:
http://gravatar.com and login with your WordPress account info.
I see that changing the profile e-mail address also changes the gravatar. Going to gravatar’s site and requesting your gravatar back requires a confirmation from the new e-mail address.
