Can’t change my categories

    I want to change my ” Health, Psychology and Behavior Analysis” category to “Armchair Anthropology”. It won’t let me do it. I have been trying to change some of my category names for months to no avail. I have searched the forums, and there are 55747885005 topics on categories and no titles seem to be asking the same question as mine.

    To move all my posts from one category to another would be fine if the posts contained therein were under 20. But I really don’t want to change 51 posts one at a time.

    So, here I am. I am doing the proper procedure to change category names. Is there something that I am missing? I am using Firefox, by the way.

    What have you been doing to change the categories? My advice would be to add new categories, then delete th3e old. Does that not work for you?

    If I create the new category, that requires me to move 51 posts over to the new one. I want to be able to change the names of categories like I do with the “link categories”.

    I just basically go to the category section, click the category, change the name, and hit “edit category”, but then I get an error message that reads something like “can’t update”.

    UPDATE:

    Ok, after the 4th attempt today, it worked!

    I literally had been trying this for months and had been editing each post at a time. For example, to change the name of one other particular category, it took literally 6 hours. But today, I just had to come here with my tail between my legs.
