Can’t change my email… Shows one thing but I still get emails to other…

My email address under general–>settings is what I want it to be.
When I click “users” the email address is my personal email address, not my blog address, since that is probably what I signed up with. I click “edit” on the user and the public email is the one that I want. So how can I change what I can’t see? Basically all the comments are being sent to my personal email instead of my blog email, and I can’t find anywhere to change it.

When you changed the email address do you get an email verifying the change? WordPress wont make the change unless you verify the email.
“This address is used for admin purposes. If you change this we will send you an e-mail at your new address to confirm it. The new address will not become active until confirmed.”

I want to know about this too. I have several blogs under WordPress, and I want them to remain separate, with separate contact email addresses. On blog, I have changed (and confirmed) the new email address I want to use for its admin. However, on my contact page for that blog, it’s still getting sent to the overall user email. ??? What is the point of being able to assign a different admin email address for different blogs, if the contact and other things for that blog don’t get sent there???
