Can’t change my site

  I have had nightmares since WordPress incorporated blocks. I don’t want them. I have a review page and every time I want to add a simple picture of a book, a review number, and a link, I can’t. I spend hours and hours and hours trying to do this. I write a blog about a book. Then add it to my review pade with its link. I. Can’t. Do. It. With. These. Damn. Blocks. It was simple before. Now I have these blocks and I can’t figure out how to add a simple book. I’m honestly, after years and years, ready to get rid of WordPress. I don’t want to reconstruct my site but I can’t get any help.

  I went to all of those sites. It didn’t help.

  I used to go in and add a picture and attach a blog URL. Now I can’t do a damn thing. I am beyond frustrated. I’m an author. My expenses exceeded my income for the sixth straight year in a row. EVERYONE wants money from me to do anything. I can’t pay anyone to do this.

  I never had a problem until this entire block crap came about. Now I go in and I can’t even add a fricken book.

  Please, my God, have pity on me and explain why I can’t go to a spot on this page and add a new picture.
