Can't change Name Servers record

    Hello,

    We paid for the domain mapping and we are trying to change the name server for custom ones. However we can’t find in the dropdown the NS option to add new Name Servers record.

    We are not sure about where the domain is hosted but when we make a whois search it say’s that it is registered with Wild West domains which is a reseller to wordpress.com. The only thing that shows in our domains list is the Mapping Service. The domain is active and have been renewed for 1 year (2017). When we try to buy the domain on wordpress.com it says that it is taken. We would like to change the name server to point to the wix server but there is no such option in the domain management page.

    Could you tell me where to go to manage the website name server ?

    How did you get on with your issue – Im having same problem trying to point to another external hosting proivder

    My domain was in redemption period (after expiration). I didnt renew in time. I looked up here : http://whois.domaintools.com/ to find out redemption period.

    I asked to get back my domain in this forum
    https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/domain-in-redemption-period-2
    and the option reappeared in my wordpress.com account.
