  cant change my profile pic keeps sending me to gravatar to sign in then gravatar sways confirm email which is not being sent. i checked both spam and everywhere else

  If you cannot locate the email verification check your email client spam filter and if you use gmail or google apps please consult these guides:

  I also can’t change my profile pic. It appears to allow me to upload a new one, but at the page where I’m supposed to crop it, it tells me to “Crop your photo using the dotted box below”…except there’s no dotted box.

  I have restarted my browser, emptied my cache, tried two, smaller versions of the same photo, and the “dotted box” will not show up.

  I haven’t but I’ve always used Firefox without any problems, so it would seem to me to be a problem with the code somewhere.

  Still, I’ll try another browser and report back.

  Tried Chrome and that worked.

  Don’t know if there was an update to the image editing part of the site recently, but it may have caused a problem with Firefox. Because, again, I’ve never had a problem with adding and cropping a photo and I’ve been using it with WordPress and Gravatar for a while.

  No problem. There may be a browser plugin or extension that you have enabled that is preventing the dotted box to display. I’d try to play around and disable them one by one to see if the box shows back up.
