Can’t Change Public Username

  When I try to change my publically displayed username from my full name to just my first name, I click ‘Update Profile’ and then get this error message:

  ERROR: Please enter the same password in both password fields.

  But with nowhere to enter a password.

  Hi Simon,
  Regarding errors in changing your display name on themakemoneyonlineblog.com, the site isn’t hosted at WordPress.com. You actually need help for a WordPress powered site, not a site hosted at WordPress.com. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are a little separate, and that can be confusing.

  You’ll want to use the forums at https://wordpress.org/support/ for any support on managing your site. Hope that helps to point you in the right direction!
