Can’t change site address

  My site domain is currently letstalkaboutportuguesefood.wordpress.com. I want to change it to codandcustard.wordpress.com.

  I’ve tried to change it in >manage>domains but a message appears: Sorry, that site is reserved!

  There doesn’t seem to be another blog using this address

  That URL is reserved for the account codandcustard.

  Hi there,

  As @staartmees said above, that address is not available, because someone already owns the matching username. When someone creates a username on WordPress.com, the free address matching that username is automatically reserved for them, and only they are able to register that address.
