Can't change song in Music Player Widget

    For the past few days I can’t change songs on my music player(a widget) I had “no” issue being able to change songs for a good while now(I did have a problem about 6 months ago changing songs) The widgets look different when I look on my dashboard now..So I’m wondering has a recent update changed the way I can change songs on my music player? I’m trying to copy/paste a URL onto it..Which is what I’ve been doing that used to work. I appreciate any/all suggestions. Thank you in advance

    Hi there, would you mind providing a link to the post or page with your music player so I can have a look?

    Could you also please try these two troubleshooting steps:

    – does editing the widget work in a different browser, like Chrome?

    – if it works in Chrome, could you please try running Firefox in safe mode to rule out an extension or add-on conflict? Here’s how to do that:

    That is a link to my front page that has the music player on the sidebar..I just tried to edit the music player using explorer browser instead of firefox..Same thing happened…Exactly what is happening is its allowing me to insert a new song onto the player & then I click on save..and then nothing..Looks like the format of widgets must have changed or something in the last few days and that is why…I’m still new on wordpress though so Iearning as I go…I’m going to try chrome, per your suggestion, now…will update you again after..thank you again :)

    Just tried to change song using Chrome and still doesn’t happen.Think maybe I should remove the music player and re-load it?

    Hi there, it looks like you’ve put a YouTube player into the music widget – this is the code I see there:

    YouTube shortcodes won’t work in the music player – it needs the [playlist] shortcode instead.
