Cant change the fonts

    Hi there,

Been having some real headaches with certain posts.

    Firstly, example: http://lifeafterchina.wordpress.com/2009/02/07/man-aged-98-on-trial-for-fraud/

Text is different in the first paragraph than the rest of the article. I have come across this once before and the only way i could resolve it was by deleting the whole post and re-creating it.

What causes this? I realize it likely gets mixed up with things like image captions or pasting from sources and what not, but how can it be set uniformed? I’ve posted once before about not being able to change the font beside the basic options, but surely there’s a way to at least uniform them across one post?

I have played around with the options like heading1 paragraph1 or whatever they’re called and it basically didn’t achieve anything.

Have also had problems with images not displaying properly for absolutely no reason but i’ll save that one for another.

I wasn’t going to bother with asking about this, but it has been a bit of a headache and I’d be interested to know how to fix it.

Thanks in advance for any assistance

You are not alone – I have the same problem – usually I copy the text, “paste special” it as unformatted text into Word, re-format it and paste it back into the blog – but there must be a way to do it within the blog!

Paste it into the html editor, rather than the visual editor. That way, you’ll only copy the text and not the formatting.
