  I can’t change theme by selecting one from the free ones

  Hi there,

  What steps are you taking to change your theme and are you receiving any error messages when attempting to change it? Also, what theme are you wanting to switch to? Are you going through https://inspol.wordpress.com/wp-admin/themes.php to change your theme are through https://wordpress.com/themes/?

  I would like to change the photo on the background theme and I can’t find it anywhere. I then tried to change the theme and can’t do that either. I’ve looked under site identity and colors and background. I was in WordPress.com I had already selected a theme; but tried to change theme when it wasn’t letting me change the background photo

  @cherylturnbull At https://campingwithspecialneeds.wordpress.com/ aren’t those “lights” an image in the sample/template first post? Below the image it says:

  This is your very first post. Click the Edit link to modify or delete it, or start a new post. If you like, use this post to tell readers why you started this blog and what you plan to do with it.

  So you can remove the image and text and add your own by editing the post. You can change the title of the post to something more suitable too.
  PS: You can give your site a title by clicking on “My Sites” “Customize” on the left and then “Site Identity”. Don’t forget to save any changes you make. And if you have further questions it would be best to start your own thread as this reply will also be seen be the person who started this thread.
