can't change theme display in options

Hi, I’m a newbie
I’ve chosen the “Chateau” theme but it has all the details down the bottom (it didn’t show that in it’s display, had a right column). Anyway, I went into ‘theme options’ and tried to change (clicked little round button) for the display that had the right column and did save but it won’t change! I don’t want everything hidden where you have to scroll to see it.
Can anyone help please?

I see a right sidebar on the site linked to your username, http://meehan2family.wordpress.com/ .

Clear your browser cache and take another look. Some browsers are notorious for serving cached pages when they should go and get a new one.

I’m feeling a bit dumb. There is a space on the right but nothing there, it’s all below. panaghiotisadam I’ve just found this post again. Yeh, some of that stuff in the ‘footer’ (big footer, I don’t know why it all went there). Didn’t know I could drag it to the right column.

I can sypathize with that. spent 4 hours doing/ typing my firsat blog, post. Got it all done and was looking at the bottom to see where I could save it. It asked for a picture and I uploaded one; then all my writing had disappeared. I spent another 2 hours trying to find it, but there was a WordPress message there in place of my post. I have a website with Godaddy, but they want to charge extra for a blog, so I started here. Maybe I should have gone to GoDaddy or Blogger, but I was learning with EProfits.
Bet if I post something on Godady and Blogger, they’ll find my post. It was about religion. I/m beginning to think they did it on purpose.

Yeah, I’m hitting the hay with my head aching, been up all night typing for nothing and will carry that message far and wide this eve. Wish I knew how to dismantle the Theme and picture I put togwther. They’ll steal it next.

Maybe I thought Wpress was different, but they are just like the rest of the bleedinh heart liberals, only worse. The rest of the places will allow you to talk about God and religion, without censoring your free speech.

I took something a bit ago for my kidney trouble, so maybe I’ll just blog here til they start erasing my posts or I fall asleep one. My blog last night; no, this AM was about telling the truth. I’ll get on facebook and tell it, maybe a twit or two. Tweet that is. Then I can change my website to take a blog- http://www.capnrichard.com. There that’s a link and it’s a Christian site, never made a dme. Just sent the Word out.
