Can't choose a site address that appears to be as available

  Hello,

  I am trying to change my site address to an address which currently says as “.wordpress.com is no longer available. The authors have deleted this site.”. But for some reason when I update this address in my Dashboard it is giving me an alert “Sorry, that site is reserved!”. Why is this? How can I get that address?

  Sites already deleted by their authors two or more years ago may become available again, if they present no username or other technical conflicts.

  If the address in question is reserved, it means that address presents an username.
