can’t choose “change template” on any pages

  Hi. I just switched over to the Modernist theme and I really like it. It’s encouraging me to update my site a lot. But I can’t choose to change the template on any of the pages. There are templates available but it just defaults to the “pages” template. I need to be able to use other ones like for archives and about pages. See screenshot below.

  I went through tutorials and forums and chatted with the bot but the only other suggestions was that I needed to change a setting in the templates section of the site editor. It was suggested that I choose “Manage Templates” at the bottom of that menu to do that but that isn’t an option.

  Would love to know what to do to be able to access other templates.
