Hi @mrmahmood2021,
It may be just a cache issue.
Have you tried logging out, clearing your browser’s cache then logging back in?
Here are instructions if you haven’t done it before:

Hi there,
Are you still having this issue? If so, please share more details of what exactly happens when you click on the Edit button.
-
When I hover mouse over edit button there appears a general prohibition circle so therefore disabling the clicking option.
-
Hmm, could you share a screenshot of what exactly do you see on your end? You can upload that screenshot to your media library and let us know here; we’ll take a look.

When I screenshot, it doesnt include my mouse pointer unfortunately.
basically, when I want to click on ‘edit’ on any given page, there appears a red circle with red line through it (prohibition sign) at the place where the mouse pointer is. -
Hi there!
Are you by chance trying to click the edit button while you’re on the customizer?
-
-
Thanks for confirming that.
The edit button isn’t active in the customizer. When you’re on the customizer, only the links that open something on the frontend (as opposed to the post editor on the dashboard) will work. For example, navigating between posts, pages, etc. The edit button will not work because it’s meant to open the post editor which can’t be edited within the customizer.
It’s always been this way. Perhaps you haven’t noticed that before? In any case, you’ll need to be on visiting the site instead of being in the editor in order to click the edit button to edit a post/page.
