Cant close my account~!!

  I deleted my contents and switched from premium to regular. I don’t want my blog anymore and don’t want the domain. I’m no longer blogging. I need help! I’ve gone through the steps and besides just ignore my address, I dont’ want to pay for the domain name and no longer have any need for it! Please delete the account.

  Your custom domain name booksintheburbs.com is currently registered through December 24, 2016. Do you want to cancel that domain name completely?

  Please keep in mind that canceling a domain means you give up ownership of that domain name. The domain name may not be released immediately, and there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to register it again in the future.

  If you’d like to keep the domain and use it somewhere else, you can transfer it instead: Transfer a Domain to Another Registrar

  If you’re sure you want to cancel the domain and stop using it completely, please let me know and I can cancel it for you.

  Thank you for your assistance. I would like to close my blog permanently and remove ownership over my domain. I do not plan to book blog any longer. Thank you so much!

  Hi there,

  Thanks for confirming that! I cancelled that domain name for you. You can now either change your site’s Privacy Settings to make the blog private (so it can’t be accessed by visitors, but you can come back to it later), or you can delete the site permanently at this link:

  https://booksintheburbs.wordpress.com/wp-admin/tools.php?page=delete-blog

  If you delete the site, please read all the warnings carefully as it can’t be undone.
