  I can’t close my account. Error Message ‘This user account cannot be closed while it has active subscriptions.’

  I don’t see any active subscriptions on this WordPress.com account. Are you trying to close the @shouldbeclosed account? Please try following the steps here once again and take a screenshot if you see the error message.

  Thanks for the extra details! Taking a closer look at your account, it looks like you had an old, cancelled VaultPress Lite plan that was originally put in place in 2017. For some reason the cancellation didn’t properly process and was preventing you from fully closing your account, so I went ahead and cleared that out for you.
