Can’t comment on any blogs

When I write a comment on blogs and click post, nothing appears. I attempt to repost, and get a message saying I’ve already commented that phrase. I saw that others had recently commented on this blog, so I’m almost certain her settings were authorizing comments. Wondering if there is something I need to change on my end.

Hi @patshapero, site owners often hold comments for moderation, and only display them after they have approved.
If you need more help, can you send a link to the site you tried to comment on?

Your comments on those posts were marked as spam by our spam filters, as they contain multiple links and are not structured like a typical blog comment using standard paragraphs. It looks like you’re doing an academic critique of the posts, but your comments appear very similar to the type of machine-generated comment spam that constantly get posted to sites, so I can understand how our spam filters could have blocked them.
Please contact the owners of those blogs directly and ask them to mark your comments as not spam. We cannot unspam those comments at your request.
