Can't comment on WordPress blogs NOT using my WordPress account
-
Hi guys,
I really need help as this is a topic I’ve been raging on about for weeks.
My main blog is a .blogspot.com one but I also have wordpress account that I don’t use that often. However, I use the same email address for both of them.Whenever I comment on WordPress blogs, I want my main blog to show up when people click on my name, not my WordPress blogs, so I don’t wanna log in with my WordPress account. But when I put my email adress in the box, WordPress always forces me to log in with my account. Is there any way I don’t have to do this?
But this is not the end of my problem with WordPress:
I later changed the email adress in my WordPress profile (although I didn’t like it as I’d like to have one email adress connected to all my blogs) thinking now WordPress would allow me to comment with the old email adress but nope – I’m still asked to log in even though the email adress I’ve given isn’t the one belonging to my WordPress account.
Does anyone know why this happens and how I can change it? By now it looks as if I could never comment on WordPress blogs again without using my WordPress account. -
Oh, I forgot: I also tried editing my WordPress profile so only my main blog and not my WordPress blogs would show up but when I deleted the wordpress blogs from the list of blogs that should show up on my profile, it wasn’t possible to click on my profile at all anymore.
