Can't Comment on WP blogs w/ old email
-
I started a WP account this week using email address: (email visible only to moderators and staff).
I am not ready to move my blog over from Blogger just yet, but decided to start an account.
When I try to comment on other WP blogs, it tells me I need to log in to my account which I do not want to do, since my blog is NOT here (yet).
So, I changed the email address associated with WP to a different one: (email visible only to moderators and staff)
BUT when I try to comment on WP blogs using the original email (dearjackie…) it STILL recognizes me and says I need to log in, even though when I try to log in, it states that It’s an invalid address!!!
I’m SO frustrated and really regretting starting anything on this site. We’re already off to a bad start! HELP!
Can someone please disassociate the old email address from my account. It doesn’t appear on my account page, so I don’t know what else to do.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
I’m really sorry for the trouble here. This is actually the intended result. Whenever you comment on a WordPress.com site using your email, we will ask you to login if the email address you used is currently or has ever been associated with a WordPress.com account. This is to help protect your identity online. I’m afraid there’s no way to “disassociate” your old email. We’ll ask you to login if the email address has ever been used with a WordPress.com account.
