    Hello. I can’t comment or like any blogs posts or read comments in the notification upper right corner of my blog for over a week now. The little ‘sign in’ box pops up for me to sign in only for a split second and disappears, not allowing me to sign in. Ironically this is happening on my windows 8.1 desktop but I don’t have the problem with Windows 10 laptop.

    I actually found a fix for this, if you are using Chrome…

    Click up in the address bar and choose to block cookies. (icon next to the star)

    Sign out of WordPress.com
    Sign out of Gravatar

    Go back to WordPress and make sure you are not signed in.

    If you are, sign out again and make sure you have cookies blocked for WordPress

    Go back to Gravatar and make sure you are not signed in.

    If you are, sign out again and make sure you have cookies blocked for Gravatar.

    Once you have flipped back and forth enough and have confidence that are you not signed to either, close Chrome.

    Check both sites again to make sure you are not logged.

    If you are not … then Login to WordPress

    It will probably tell you you have to enable cookies.

    Re-enable access to cookies.

    Login… and all should be well again.

    I have had to do this a couple of times on different computers. Somebody should take the time to post the details of this somewhere where folks can get to it easily. I looked to post it under the most common thread, but it is locked, which completely stupid.

    If this doesn’t work for you, ditch WordPress… Use Medium. I switched to it a couple of years ago, and it is 1,000,000% better and 1,000,000% less frustrating and FREE.
