Can’t Completely Delete Domain Mapping
-
Hello,
I’ve decided to self-host on the domain that I had been mapping my wordpress.com blog to- http://notthatkindofgirl.net.
However, after I deleted the domain from the mapping in my wordpress.com blog, I still cannot access my new dashboard, which should be http://notthatkindofgirl.net/wp-admin. Instead, I see this error message:
“Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please login and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.”
How do I completely delete the mapping so that I can get to my new self-hosted Dashboard?
Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I wonder if perhaps you haven’t changed the CNAME record on the DNS for your domain notthatkindofgirl.net, so there is still a CNAME record there which continues to forward traffic from your domain to WordPress. And since you have cancelled your domain mapping on that end, WordPress is rejecting visitors.
Cheers from very snowy Quebec :)

thanks, mhuffrousselle! that was also happening to me! and that was the problem. after deleting the CNAME and DNS pointing to Wordpres, it seems to be working ;)
