Hi there,
Could you walk me through the steps you are taking to connect your domain? Have you tried the steps from this guide? Connect a domain to WordPress.comCould you share a screenshot of the upgrade message that you are receiving? Here is a guide on how to take screenshots: https://wordpress.com/support/make-a-screenshot/
I look forward to your reply.

From my domain provider, I have already set the nameservers. After setting the nameservers, I proceeded to “Add my own domain” via WordPress, and the result is as shown in the screenshot.

It can take anywhere from 4 to 72 hours for the changes to fully update everywhere. Once that’s done, you’ll be able to connect your domain by going to Upgrades → Domains (if you’re using the Default Admin interface) or Hosting → Domains (if you’re using WP Admin). Here is a step by step guide.
Just keep in mind, connecting (or “mapping”) a domain to WordPress.com is free, but only if you’re on a paid WordPress.com plan.

If it’s still not working after the nameservers have fully updated, let me know your current WordPress.com plan and your domain name, and I’ll help you out!

I’m using the free plan on WordPress, and the domain I recently purchased is banpdm-pabar.id from another provider

You still need a paid plan if you want to use that custom domain (and make it the primary domain) with a site built here at WordPress.com. A Personal plan would be the cheapest.

Hello @stelin368!
As @themagicrobot mentioned, if you’d like to connect a domain to your WordPress.com site and use it as the primary address, you’ll need to upgrade your site first. You can do that by following this guide:
https://wordpress.com/support/manage-purchases/upgrade-your-plan/Once your site is upgraded, you’ll be able to connect your domain and set it as the primary address by following the steps here:
