Cant connect domain – no hosting

My jetpack isnt able to log into my account since I cant add the domain only to confirm my wordpress account.
How do I verify my domain without attaching it to a wordpress hosted site?

Hello,
I just want to connect my domain to my wordpress account so I can connect it for woocommerce payments and subscriptions. I DO NOT want hosting or do I want it to connect it to this site you have made for me here.
Also, I know there is an option to JUST get the alacart version of connection for $13 a year and not a subscription.

Hi again! I understand now you wan’t to connect a domain to Jetpack without any hosting at all. Jetpack can only connect to a publicly accessible WordPress site, or to a site that our servers can access, so you will need hosting somewhere.
If you use our hosting, we connect Jetpack for you. If you use other hosting, you’ll need a functioning, public WordPress installation, then you can connect.
If you are using a local or otherwise non-public installation of WordPress, some Jetpack features will not be available, but you can use what is available through these steps:
